How we give back

We are passionate about keeping embroidery alive for future generations and supporting the talented artisans and dedicated technicians involved in their care.

To do this, where possible, we donate a percentage of the proceeds of the sale of our kits to the castle, country house, or institution that the original embroidery belongs to.

With this donation, we specifically support the care and safe-housing of the historic embroidery, as well as the training of staff involved in its upkeep.

As I am working on other projects at this time, I have yet to start the Elizabethan Oakapple, but I am more than impressed by the beautiful colours of the wools & accompanying materials.

Too soon to review.

You may have fulfilled my order one day ago, however, I am on the other side of the pond. I live in the U.S.A.

Revising a previous review

I was distressed that such an expensive present took three months to arrive, and I began to doubt the validity of this company, but the customer service people worked with me and were very helpful. I had not realized that there were issues with the royal mail at the time I ordered. The kit arrived very late and is everything that it should be. I really encourage American customers to pay for tracking! The product itself is of excellent quality and worth the wait.

Magical and historic

This was my first piece of crewel work and it has been a dream. The quality of the kit is astounding. Worth every penny. It feels like you are creating an heirloom. The first of many Crewel Work Company pieces I will create. My embroidery journey has begun!
