Today, Muncaster is home to countless treasures amassed by generations of the Pennington family. Amongst them is a textile collection of international importance, consisting of all manner of embroidered artefact.

Now looked after by a team of dedicated handlers and curators, including Head Curator Kym Armstrong, the Muncaster Textile Collection is a must see for the historic embroider enthusiast. We are thrilled to have contributed to Muncaster's textile journey over the years, working with the Pennington Family and their team on a number of textile projects including the creation of the Muncaster Bed Hanging, resulting in tangible contributions to the care of the original embroidery.
