How we give back

We are passionate about keeping embroidery alive for future generations and supporting the talented artisans and dedicated technicians involved in their care.

To do this, where possible, we donate a percentage of the proceeds of the sale of our kits to the castle, country house, or institution that the original embroidery belongs to.

With this donation, we specifically support the care and safe-housing of the historic embroidery, as well as the training of staff involved in its upkeep.

Past, present, future

I am enjoying stitching Jacobean Fantasy for many reasons. Mostly, it’s a beautiful design that allows me to think of women and their work of the past while creating something that will give me and my heirs joy for years to come. The kit itself is so well planned, the instructions are excellent, and even the box is lovely.

Wow!

My parcel arrived earlier this week and I just wanted to say how absolutely beautiful everything is. The kits, the linen, the wools…the wools!!.......the book, the starter kit, the presentation…I felt positively reverent slowly opening each part and examining it in great detail before moving on to the next piece.
