Gawthorpe Honeysuckle Kit

by Natalie Dupuis

In this charming design, Natalie has recreated a treasured family heirloom originally stitched by Rachel Kay Shuttleworth as a gift for her sister Nina for the event of Nina's wedding in 1910.

The curving motif depicts a beautiful Honeysuckle branch in an arched shape. Completed in twisted DeVere silks on a pure silk fabric, this delicate design can be finished as a framed piece, set into a box lid, or completed as a book cover.

How we give back

We are passionate about keeping embroidery alive for future generations and supporting the talented artisans and dedicated technicians involved in their care.

To do this, where possible, we donate a percentage of the proceeds of the sale of our kits to the castle, country house, or institution that the original embroidery belongs to.

With this donation, we specifically support the care and safe-housing of the historic embroidery, as well as the training of staff involved in its upkeep.
