We recommend using a Hands Free Seat Frame with an 6 inch hoop and with paddle base or table clamp. Alternatively you may prefer to use a Slate Frame or other frame of your choice. You will also need a pair of scissors and a thimble if you use one

Everyone stitches at different speeds and tensions but as a guide, this design should take around 4 hours.

My parcel arrived earlier this week and I just wanted to say how absolutely beautiful everything is. The kits, the linen, the wools…the wools!!.......the book, the starter kit, the presentation…I felt positively reverent slowly opening each part and examining it in great detail before moving on to the next piece.
I stitched this after enrolling in a course to follow along with Phillipa last year. I love it and am proud of how it turned out. Covers a lot of basic stitches. I still need to block and frame it.
