superb fabric

This twill is so good to stitch using Appleton’s wool.
the weave is firm holds the stitches.
When blocked correctly this twill dries out evenly leaving the stitched areas looking good .

Excellent fabric

Excellent fabric, the same as used in Crewel Work Company kits. Pleased to get this very affordable size piece. Takes design transfer very well using prick and pounce method, so ideal for making designs from books (where there is copyright permission). I am using this piece for stitch practise for Aesops Mirror and 'warm up' stitching before sessions working this large design, to optimise my making. Very pleased and will buy again.

Lovely

I thoroughly enjoyed completing the project. My only disappointment is to find out that the transfer does not disappear with the application of water (in the blocking). It is printed in blue as if it should be - why isn't it?? Also there is sufficient wool supplied to do more than 1 project - a transfer of the designs could also be available for those who want them.
